The @WallaceTallman collaboration features two common NFTs: one greyscale piece of art and a gradient “utility swatch.” Blend them to form a rare, full color version that includes an original song and music video. Blend all three to redeem an even rarer black label version also with song and video.
About This Collaboration:
This collaboration was especially fun for me as I’ve known Wallace Tallman for over 30 years—the younger sibling of my best friend. I remember as kids showing him a thing or two on the guitar, only to be far and away surpassed in skill, talent, and creativity not much later.
Today, his credits and accomplishments are vast. If you live in the greater Chicagoland area, you can see him performing at venues all over the city. You may have even heard a song he wrote on the Netflix movie Kissing Booth 2 called Wonderlust (performed by Will Post).
The visuals of this project started as a video game I fully intended to build. It was supposed to be a narrative driven, graphically beautiful Flappy Bird styled game (it made sense in my head). Once I abandoned its development, I wanted to find something to do with it.
When Nick Tantillo and Yoshi Kondo posted a song contest on WaxWorks.io, I sent the visuals to Wallace to write a song around. Back and forth the 1s and 0s went until we ended up with what we believe to be a gorgeous expression of creativity and collaboration.
The song is called Vision Board, and you can own 1 of 100 minted versions of it by blending the common swatches in this collaboration below.
